Terms of Service
Effective 2026. By using Livery Engine you agree to these terms.
About this service
Livery Engine is an unofficial, fan-made tool for designing custom liveries. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the makers of Le Mans Ultimate or any game studio, championship, team, or car manufacturer. All game titles, car designs, and trademarks referenced belong to their respective owners and are referenced solely so your liveries are compatible with the game you own.
Our software
The Livery Engine software โ the editor, website, and rendering engine โ is the original work of Livery Engine and is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
Conditions of access
As a condition of using this service, you agree not to copy, redistribute, scrape, bulk-download, or resell any content obtained through it, nor to reverse-engineer the service or access it by automated means beyond normal interactive use. Access is provided for designing your own liveries only. We may suspend accounts that breach these conditions.
Intellectual-property concerns
We respect the rights of game studios and other rights holders. If you are a rights holder and believe any material available through this service should be removed or changed, contact us via the support page and we will respond promptly.
Your designs
Liveries you create remain yours. Exporting a finished livery to the game requires an active Pro subscription.
Subscriptions & billing
Pro is a paid subscription sold through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes payment and handles currency conversion and any applicable sales tax or VAT automatically at checkout, so you're billed correctly for your location. Prices are shown on the pricing page before any payment. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future billing; you keep full Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for โ you never lose what you paid for.
Refund policy
Livery Engine is a digital service, and the full editor and live preview on the real car are free forever โ you can try everything the product does before paying a cent. Because of that, payments are for immediate access to exporting, and we handle refunds as follows:
- Duplicate or erroneous charges โ contact us within 7 days via the support page and we will refund the charge in full.
- Statutory cooling-off โ where South African law (ECTA) grants a cooling-off period for electronic transactions, you may cancel within 7 days of payment for a full refund only if the paid service has not been used. Exporting, downloading, or installing even one livery consumes the paid service and ends cooling-off eligibility โ the free tier exists precisely so you can evaluate everything before paying. We keep server-side records of every export and use them to assess refund requests.
- Renewals โ if a subscription renews and you contact us within 7 days without having exported in the new period, we will refund that renewal.
- No partial refunds โ cancelling mid-period does not pro-rata refund the remainder; instead you keep Pro access until the period ends.
- Service failure โ if a fault on our side prevented you from using what you paid for, we will refund or extend your subscription, at your choice. A fault must be verified by our support team: open a ticket on the support page with the livery name and export time, and we will re-render your export from our records to reproduce the issue. Problems caused by game updates, mods or overlays, files renamed or edited after export, or installation into the wrong game folder are not service faults โ but we will still help you get running via support.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Lemon Squeezy, normally within 7โ10 business days. To request one, use the support page from your account.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the conditions of access above, and reserve all rights available to us in respect of our own software and service.
